At Domaine de Marotte we – Daan & Elvire van Dijkman – have been making honest, distinctive wines that excel in quality since 1998. We work organically and are happy to share our passion for wine and local products with those who want it.

Tour visit

If you want to know how a winery works then you are more than welcome at Domaine de Marotte. With the help of a free audio tour we are happy to tell you about our history, our vineyards, growing grapes, harvesting and making wine. This audio tour takes you through 9 different listening locations and takes approximately 30 minutes. The tour is available in Dutch, French and English. Afterwards you can taste our wines and ask any questions.

Wine tasting

During the tasting you get to know our wines extensively. We tell you everything about the grape varieties used and the making process. You also learn how to taste optimally and which wines best suit which food. The tasting costs € 4 per person and we serve children under 16 free to drink something else for free. If you decide to buy one or more of our wines afterwards, you do not have to pay anything for the tasting.

Apéritif Vigneron

Apéritif Vigneron. Only after reservation.

With the Apéritif Vigneron formula you get an audio visit and we provide a tasting with – in addition to our wines – also various matching small local specialties. During the Apéritif Vigneron we try to taste various wine pairings. Which combination tastes good and which combination does not taste good.

Events

Also, for events, you have come to the right place at Domaine de Marotte. Because we regularly facilitate and / or organize beautiful meetings. Whether it is 20 people or 750, everything is possible. From personalized tours with wine tastings to a complete catering with or without music and / or a party. Possibly even in combination with the rental of our gîtes.

“Wonderful wines, wonderful hosts. My wife and I walked to the vineyard from Carpentras (a long walk). We had hoped to taste wine, and if we liked it, send a case or two home. It became obvious very quickly that regulations make it nearly impossible and very costly to ship small quantities of wine to the USA. Despite all of the above, our hosts were extremely generous with both their time and their very fine wines. We were able to sample wine, as well as watch the process of crushing and pressing the grapes. A memorable and lovely experience.”

“Super wijndomein. Geweldig wijndomein met hele leuke rondleiding met een iPod, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. We konden zelfs nog picknicken zonder reservering. Heerlijke wijnen geproefd die je ook in Nederland kan afhalen maar uiteraard twee lekkere doosjes meegenomen voor de komende drie weken vakantie.
Zullen zeker nog eens terugkomen misschien in een gites.”

Voor een heel klein prijsje alle lekkere wijn geproefd en ondertussen een babbeltje met de sympathieke eigenaars ! Natuurlijk namen we wijn mee .”
