For our red wines we have five grape varieties. This enables us to blend the wines in different ways. Typical for our red wines are their concentrated aromas of black fruit like cherries, blackberries and
blueberries as well as a very clear spiciness of laurel, pepper and herbes de Provence. On the palate, there is the same concentration together with roundness and length in the aftertaste. The oak aged wines are not overpowered by the wood. and adds both character and slightly more firm tannins to the wines. It makes it possible to cellar them for a period of time. Six years is no problem at all. Wines without oak aging can be kept three to four years.
